At the ADK Flying Club, our mission is to provide safe, accessible and affordable flying opportunities for anyone with a passion to explore the skies. Based at Saratoga Airport (5B2), we offer a friendly environment and community for pilots of all experience levels from student pilots to seasoned aviators.

The ADK Flying Club is home to 65 members ranging in age from 16 to 86. Whether you're just starting your aviation journey or an experienced pilot, you'll find a welcoming home here.

Explore Our Fleet
The club offers a diverse fleet of five well-maintained aircraft. Our line up includes three low-wing Piper models from the reliable Cherokee family, as well as a Cessna 172 and a leased Cessna 182. Each aircraft is professionally maintained by certified A&P mechanics at 5B2, ensuring the highest standard of safety. During the winter months, all aircraft are hangered, protecting them from the harsh Upstate New York weather. For more information on our fleet, please visit here.
Club Operations
The club is a not-for-profit organization overseen by an executive board responsible for administrative tasks. The board operates under a formal set of bylaws, which can be viewed here.

To join the club, there is a one-time refundable capital investment of $3,500, which is returned upon leaving the club. Members also pay monthly dues of $130, in which $40 is built-in for a flight credit.
Monthly meeting are held on the second Monday of each month at 5 PM, where all members are encouraged to attend and participate in discussions regarding club business.​
Aircraft can be scheduled anytime using a online system called Flight Circle.​

The hourly aircraft rental is based on tach time, as apposed to the faster-running Hobbs meter. Members are charged wet rates which are calculated using a formula that takes into account fuel usage, maintenance, engine and airframe depreciation. ​
